Worth Knowing

Keep a photo of this packed list and your parent's Parent Profile on your phone. In an admission, the documents and the medicine list matter most — those are what hospitals ask for first. See also our full hospitalisation guide.

🛒 Useful items to pack

Things families often wish they'd bought before the hospital stay. All available on Amazon AU for fast delivery.

Doctor's pick

The most-forgotten items are non-slip socks (hospital floors are slippery), a good water bottle (dehydration slows recovery), and a pill organiser for the medicines they need to continue during the stay.
