Before an emergency happens, do these three things:
- Identify your nearest government hospital with emergency care.
- Save the number 108 (national ambulance) on your parent's phone as "AMBULANCE".
- Save Elderline 14567 for non-emergency support.

- Call 108 for a government ambulance or 112 for general emergency services.
- Inform the local emergency contact (trusted neighbour or relative).
- Get the doctor's name and hospital location from the ambulance team.
- Have digital copies of your parent's Aadhaar and insurance card ready to send via WhatsApp.
- Inform the hospital of any known allergies or major chronic conditions (e.g., Diabetes, Heart Condition).
- Start a family WhatsApp group for updates to avoid multiple calls.
- Note the name of the treating doctor and ward number as soon as your parent is admitted.
